This year’s Mid Year Congress (MYC2020) is scheduled to take place on the 29th and 30th of May 2020 at the Galliness Paradise hotel in Bo. This year’s theme is “The Role of Disease Prevention and Control in Achieving Universal Health Coverage.”
Universal health coverage means that all people have access to the health services they need, when and where they need them, without financial hardship. It should be based on strong, people-centred primary health care. Good health systems are rooted in the communities they serve. They focus not only on preventing and treating disease and illness, but also on helping to improve well-being and quality of life.
In 2019 , the Sierra Leone National Action Plan for health security was launched and with the Government set to launch its plan to promote Universal Health Coverage in April 2020, such a conference would provide much needed orientation on both plans to ensure success

- Above 4 years of practice: Le 500,000
- Early Registration deadline: 10th April 2020
- Late Registration deadline: 8th May 2020
